We’re delighted you’ve chosen the DNA team to support you!
Here you’ll find all the information you need about what happens next. For us to crack on with the work, there are some important onboarding steps we need you to complete.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

You get professional clearance from your previous accountant

The process is kicked off when you notify your accountant you’re switching over to DNA. Don’t worry! We can give you the wording for a professional and seamless transition.

We get authorisations from your previous accountant and HMRC

We get all the ‘accountanty things’ we need – accounts, VAT, payroll, info, technical things, codes. This allows us to talk to HMRC and Companies House on your behalf.

You fill in a new client form to give us all the info we need

We ask for all the necessary info in one fell swoop. Using an online form you’ll provide us with personal and business details, and include copies of important documents we’ll need.

You’ll have your first onboarding call with a bookkeeper – woohoo!

In this call you’ll be run through all the bookkeeping basics. We’ll walk you through how we run your bookkeeping and what you need to do monthly to have healthy accurate books.

You’ll have regular check-ins throughout the year

Month 1
We’ll check onboarding is running smoothly

Month 2
Your first profitability and accounts check

Month 6
Another P&L and balance sheet check and forecast end of year tax

Month 12
We’ll check in before year end for a tax filing/saving meeting
